 Hatch Training Announced

The Elsternwick Cricket Club invites you to attend practices to select a squad for the 2009/10 R.M. Hatch Competition. The competition is conducted by the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association in January and provides U15 cricketers with the opportunity to play in a quality competition on turf wickets. Elsternwick has been very successful in this competition, winning the competition 3 times in the past 12 seasons, and helping assist future stars such as Cameron White and Aiden Blizzard with their cricket development. 
 

Practice Details:
Wednesdays 28th of October, 4th, 11th, 25th of November 5:00-6:30pm.                 Wednesday 18th of November 4:30-7:30pm for a practice match.

The club will be providing coaching via experienced Sub-District players. The squad will be finalised after training on the 25th of November. Additional training sessions will be organised once the squad is finalised.

Background

 

Elsternwick CC has a proud history in the RM Hatch competition, winning it 3 times since 96/97, and has helped develop players such as Cameron White and Aiden Blizzard. Current 1st XI players Adam Fraine, Ballagi Kirupanatha, Sean Meredith and Cameron Christiansen are all products of the Hatch system and have come back to the club after testing their abilities at Premier level. There are currently 11 former ECC Hatch players playing 1st XI premier cricket or higher, and ECC is very proud to have contributed in some part to their success.Practice DetailsTBACompetition DetailsTBA
